No. We have no connection to the ETIAS system. Only the official ETIAS portal at europa.eu can process and review applications.
Can you check my application status?
No. Application status can only be checked through the official ETIAS portal or your ETIAS National Unit.
Can you help me with a refund or payment dispute?
No. We do not process payments of any kind. If you have been charged by a third-party website, contact your bank and read our ETIAS scam warning page.
Do you offer advertising or sponsorship?
This site displays Google AdSense advertisements only. We do not accept sponsored content, paid placements, or editorial partnerships. Our content is not for sale.
ETIAS-Validator.com is a small, independent reference site run by travellers, for travellers. Our editorial brief is straightforward: explain Europe’s incoming travel authorisation system in clear English, point readers to the official EU sources for any action they actually need to take, and refuse to dress the project up as something it is not. We are not lawyers, immigration consultants, or government employees. We have no commercial relationship with the EU, with any embassy, or with any of the airlines, tour operators, or insurance providers that may be advertised on our pages.
The Site is funded entirely by Google AdSense display advertising, which pays for hosting, the domain, and the time it takes to keep the guides up to date. We do not run sponsored content, affiliate links presented as editorial, or paid placements. If a product or service is mentioned on a guide page, it is because it is genuinely relevant to the topic — not because anyone paid us to mention it.
We update pages whenever the EU publishes substantive changes to ETIAS rules, fees, or launch timelines, and whenever readers send in well-sourced corrections. Each guide carries a “last updated” line where appropriate. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, written in plain HTML and CSS without trackers beyond what AdSense requires, and runs no third-party scripts other than Google’s own ad delivery code.
We will respond to: factual corrections backed by a citation to an official source; reports of broken links or pages that fail to load; suggestions for guide topics we have not yet covered; press and media enquiries from journalists writing about ETIAS, EES, or related travel topics; accessibility issues encountered by users of assistive technology; and good-faith feedback from readers who feel something on the Site is unclear or could be explained better.
We will not respond to: requests to check, expedite, or appeal an ETIAS application (we have no access to the system); requests to refund payments made to third-party application sites (please contact your bank); offers of guest posts, link insertions, sponsored articles, or content partnerships, all of which we decline as a matter of policy; SEO outreach, backlink swaps, and similar; and unsolicited “security” or “disclosure” emails that turn out to be sales pitches in disguise. Genuine vulnerability reports are welcomed.
