Traveller categories in public ETIAS documentation

ETIAS publications may describe categories of travellers in a general way, often by reference to travel document type and existing EU border rules.

Typical category language

• References to travel documents and document-issuing authorities.
• References to visa-related concepts without providing personalised determinations.
• References to exemptions and special statuses defined by law.
